About Tallahassee Newcomer Guide
The Tallahassee Newcomer Guide is an annual publication that is distributed throughout the Tallahassee area and has been in publication for over 15 years. Rowland Publishing developed this publication to act as a tool for individuals who may have recently relocated to Florida’s capital city. The magazine features a comprehensive roundup of resources for those new in town. It includes listings of places to eat, things to do, and all the local services the city has to offer. One of the largest groups moving to the Tallahassee area each year is college students attending Florida State University (FSU), Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU), Tallahassee Community College (TCC) or one of the many satellite campuses of other regional institutions of higher learning. Local realtors are also helping get copies of this publication into the hands of people moving to Tallahassee. In addition to students and new homeowners moving to this area, the publication is distributed throughout the Tallahassee community to key businesses, community agencies and high-traffic locations — providing a great resource for new and existing residents alike.
